Family Christmas Letter
December 7, 2007
From the Home of the Pitts
December 7, 2007
Hi once again from the Pitts family! My, my, my, the year has gone by so quickly and so much has happened. Dick is doing much better than he did last year, financially that is. Of course last year I told him he’d better get his ass in gear or else he’d have to find another abode, a motel room, or whatever, until he started making a “living wage” as they say. He doesn’t talk much about his new job but I must say all I have to do is ask and he opens his wallet and hands me a couple of hundred bucks. Now that’s what I call making money!
Little Schotsie, she’s our middle girl, isn’t so little any more . Even though she didn’t graduate from high school this year (which was upsetting to us for a time), she’s got a job modeling with Playboy. The plastic surgery, in my opinion, was worth every penny. And it turns out a high school diploma is really of no value to her at the moment. I will talk to her eventually about getting her GED.
Armand, our oldest, got his first DUI this past summer but he promises me he’ll never drive and drink Mad Dog wine again.
I read a good book this year. It’s called “Spunk & Bite” by Arthur Plotnik, a writer’s guide to bold, contemporary style. It was excellent. So many good pieces of advice for writing short, pithy sentences and not boring people to death with mundane details of little consequence. Did you like that sentence? I’m learning, huh?
The Pitts Family
Angel, our youngest, continues to punch and hit the kids at the playground. I tell him he shouldn’t do it and the parents of the other kids threaten him but he just doesn’t listen. He’s threatening us with joining the circus but I can’t imagine what talent he could offer them.
I’ve had screaming back-aches for most of the year but no one would know it. I try to keep it to myself and not whine or complain. I’m sure everyone appreciates it.
I picked up an interesting hobby this year but I don’t think I’ll go into it now in case Dick reads this before I mail it out.
Well that sums up just a few of the things happening in the family Pitts. We wish you all the best and the happiest of holidays!
Love
Dick, Dusty, Armand, Schotsie and Angel.
P.S.
Sorry Dick wasn’t available for the family photo this year.

Oh my Teach, what a bunch of losers. I’ve know people who could write this actual letter. Bwahahahah. Have a great evening.
Can’t be as funny as you Sandee, but I thought I’d try. I actually sent a letter like this once to friends who always sent out the typical Christmas letter…. they never sent me their letter again. Ha!
Hahaha – what a great idea – some of my kin might just appreciate this kind of humor…
Stine, read what I told Sandee, it’s true!
